College Crest

A Short History of College.

The College Crest is the epitome of persistent earning for knowledge, a spirit of heroic adventure in the ocean of life, a sense of dedication and conviction to dispel darkness of ignorance with the light of wisdom, a sense of contentment of perfection and the triumphs of truth. It consists of the Open Book, Lamp (Deepa Sikha), Industry and Computer enclosed by two Bunches of Rice.

• Two bunches of rice stands for symbol of Agriculture (Botany a branch of Biological science).
• The open Book is the traditional symbol of knowledge which represents the zest for learning and spread of education.
• The Lamp(Deepa Sikha) symbolizes the teaching community with a sense of dedication and commitment that burns itself to illuminate the society dispelling the darkness of ignorance.
• The Industry symbolizes the development of commercial & scientific knowledge of the students of the locality.
• The Computer symbolizes the spreading of knowledge through networking system i.e. by the subject Information and Technology.
